James, what are you looking for in a copywriter for ads? And what do you want to achieve?

I'm just not convinced my ads are written as well as they could be. I am promoting a local catering service.

Is your impression based on the ad copy itself or the data and unsatisfying performance?

@kuhns535 neither , my self doubt from having rubbish previous campaigns. I guess I should test first ?

Yup, if your current ads look okay-ish and you feel they could be improved, then just test. If they feel like rubbish, then get them rewritten. Focus on the headlines first, and make sure they match the search query and intent. Include a number if possible ($0 fee, 24h service, etc. ). If you know your target audience well, then include their pains or problems they want to solve. e. g. "Chiropractor for Back Pain" will often do better than "Chiropractor for Healthy Body". Also, include the keywords in the description lines and ad extensions so that they get bolded and stand out.
