I have 3 ads running all with separate budgets. The daily budget always lasts for 10 to 12 hours for the past 4 months. Today all 3 of my ads budgets went way over my daily budget and ran out after 2 hours. I called google and they said it is a busy day out? Very strange  Any advice And Friday nights are always busy for me

What bidding strategy are you using? Are you running 24/7 or on an ad schedule?

@once2 you could apply a rule to the campaigns so they dont exceed "x" budget.

You can find templates but you will have to edit the predefined parameters for the specific script or rule

Here's one of many articles you can find on scripts and how to edit them for your specific campaign goal

Try some ad scheduling. Are you satisfied with the performance over those 10-12 hrs? What kind of bidding are you using?

@once2 could be competitors cut bids and you suddenly got better impression share. Check that?

What are you targeting? Was there any popular news or events that could be related that happened on the day?

Occassionally there is a news item locally that can trigger lots of people to search for something that displays your ad's more than normal. I run campaigns for rock and roll memorabilia and when the Queen film was out, or a 60's musician dies there is a spike in traffic as people are Googling related terms. I was wondering if there was anything like that that could of happened? Have you checked in the searhc terms report?

Yes it will be, because since black friday queries are increase so it will be better to check your search term from google trends with filtering last 7 days and last 24 hours
