If your campaign is huge and complex it will be a pain in the butt to create all that. If you don't need something crazy you can create skags. Reason for this is that you will get better quality score which will essentially give you a lower cost per click. Also, you will get a higher click-through rate because your ad copy will match your single ad group keyword.

True I really love SKAG's. They are easy to build with the Google Ads Editor. But I also hear people who are negative about SKAG.

Yes, but depends on the category. For instance - “plumbers”.

You mean that plumbers should or should not use SKAGs?

Yes, Google Ads is about being organized, many have their own ways, but the bottom line is, categorize, categorize and categorize. The more granular your data is the more control you have over it. If something goes down you'll be able to track the direct root of the problem.

SKAG's can be very quick to set up. This structure also ensures that ads are relevant to each keyword. I've actually created a video which shows you how to very quickly create SKAG's, that you might find useful:

Only for most relevant highest converting/most profitable keywords. Even then, with how match types work now, not so sure it's as relevant

I agree with @killer4150 C. Not initially, but as you find solid winners, break them out into their own for scalability.
