This might sound like a silly question and I hope it’s ok to ask, can I find click through rate to my website and if so how. Is it through Google Analytics or can I only see it if I run an Google Ad?

The best place to find this info is Google Ads.

In Google Ads. (In Google Analytics there are no impressions) if you are asking about your ads.

You’re CTR is determined by the platform driving traffic to your site.

You can also see a CTR of your website if you have a search console account.

I am aware but he did not specify that he has an ad or anything. He actually asked if he should "run an Google Ad" to see it? I assumed he wants a general CTR data.

^^^ This is good advice. It is an essential setup for your website anyway, and probably gives you a base metric on which to work with. It will also give you keywords and ideas and actions to address that will improve your Google Ads algorithmic performance.

You can have a look of the click through rate in google Analytics. You will just have to set a goal. It's not that difficult.

@georgiana 1. "You can have a look of the click through rate in google Analytics. " 2. "You will just have to set a goal" BOTH - 100 % NOT TRUE! Sorry, p. 1. 50% TRUE - ONLY if you have a link between GA and GSC. but you can see organic traffic only .
