For Click to Call ads using CallRail do I have to put the CallRail number on the client website? I know Google prefers this but is there any way around it? I'm doing a trial demo for a client and their turnaround time for website code changes is going to be a nightmare. Any advice appreciated. Is it worth submitting a ticket via Adwords to let the unverified number go through?

I don’t recommend this as it is against googles policy. You can definitely ghost the number on the page and get the campaign approved but when the google bot scans the site they will flag it for malicious content and suspend the campaign.
