If you pay for calls results can not be bad. Because you choose your cost per action. There are 3 scenarios: 1. You will get conversions with CPA you want. 2. You will not get traffic 3. You will not get call but get impressions

@joinder40583 My flow is like this. GDN mobile traffic > AD > Lander w/ click to call.

@joinder40583 I’ll check it out and make adjustments

Click doesnt mean a call. So with this type of conversions tracking I do not suggest you to run it.

But if you set up Google forwarding number or call rail, you can use it

@joinder40583 cool I’m using ringba at the moment

Why call someone dumb? If someone asks an honest question, isn't it right as a community to make constructive comments with pros & cons? If insulting someone, think it rather than type it.

@boart how guy. I run call only ads aswell. I’ve tested targeting mobile traffic with a click to call lander and received some decent traffic. I’m just looking to see if someone have experience with it and clearly you don’t.

Before testing display network for driving call it would be better to check desktop traffic take it to landing page and use call to action as call the business in my experience best is call only ad for calls using desktop traffic the cost of conversion is much higher, but again it is vertical specific and my experience in my vertical

@contrasty Thanks

@contrasty I’ve received really low CPCs for GDN mobile web traffic. I will test that way aswell. Because call only ads are expensive asf in the vertical in running

@samuel you should test nth like testing and yes call only ad/mobile traffic is expensive but every thing boils down to conversion cost or rate of conversion or may be volume of conversion as well avg cpc as stand alone is meaningless metric

CPC gets totally jacked up with these ad types in my experience. So prefer to segment campaigns using device bids instead.

@cowper yea I’ve removed mobile apps placements. I’ve seen horrible results for my vertical

I bet it could work in the right niche with a strong offer. I'd use a callrail number on the display ads. They dont care about text as much as Facebook does. But that doesn't matter because if you turn the image into a gif file then no more 20% rule. And the cool thing is that if you did get calls and used the target cpm setting then you could potentially get a ton of cheap calls.

@betty550 I was thinking the same

Keep trying. Fuck what anyone says

@betty550 I got call only ads but I’m thinking to try something different lol.

@betty550 Ppl called me crazy when I’ve ran Pay per call via FB engagement ads only lol. And generated over $100k in the 2 months. Without a landing page just phone # in a viral post
