Made my first search campaign about 24 hours ago. I had 6-7 sales from Google search but only showing 3 conversions. Are they supposed to show immediately or within 30 minutes? I know with Facebook the tracking is usually a bit skewed but I figured Google would be better if anything. Maybe it’s because the conversion event wasn’t verified at first? Either way - got a purchase an hour ago, and still showing the same 3 conversions I’ve been seeing since 4pm. Thanks! Either way I’m excited I made some sales

It can take 24 hours for the data to show up in google ads

@pneumonectomy3857 thank you! So my conversions for today might not show till tomorrow? I started with a simple search campaign at $50, and it spent all the budget profitably by 12pm, so I doubled it. I guess I should just let it run a few days to optimize and then analyze the data to make any changes lol.

@alisander Correct. What are you selling?

@pneumonectomy3857 Men’s grooming products

I’ve had a ton of success on FB, never had the time or energy to learn or even begin google. Recently had some random scare and got disabled by FB, so I decided to start learning to not keep all my eggs in one basket. Waiting on products to get approved for shopping, although I’m already confused with search as it is! Lol

@alisander sales on day 1 is awesome! I’d let it run a few days before making a lot of changes.

@pneumonectomy3857 Sounds good! I got a bit nervous because my quality ranking is quite low, it seems to be due to the landing page. I don’t necessarily have all the nitty gritty keywords on the page, since all my traffic has been from FB - haven’t done any SEO or anything. Still learning on this awesome journey!

@alisander maybe just hire someone to do it for you?  but I’d say you must be doing something right if you already had conversions with $50.

@pneumonectomy3857 I somehow managed a 6 ROAS day 1 with no data and decent competition. No idea if it’s luck, or Google gives me some good traffic for that free $100 credit lol.

@alisander haha no, you must have done a good job setting it up. But for real it would likely be worth it for you to pay someone who’s well versed in e-commerce to set up your google ads. Maybe you can find someone to set it up and then train you to take over since you already have a base knowledge of things.
