Problem i am seeing is the purchase conversion value in google ads is inflated to what analytics is actually reporting

Tools and settings>conversion > choose the conversion (which tracking sales> edit > change the attribution model to last click (if you want match the conversion value matched with G Analytics)

I recommend keeping it at liner or position based though. Please inbox for more info. It’s hard to explain here on comments.

@stamp last click in Google Ads is not equal to Analytics. Last click in Google Ads = Last Google Ads klick Last click in Analytics = last indirect click. The time when the conversion happened will also be different in Google Ads and analytics.

Yes Target Roas percentage. Then I recommend focusing on profitable products to be enabled. You may have a bunch of list in your product feed that might pull down the ROI then mind as welll just focus on top and profitable products when you do smart shopping.
