Hi, anyone know why when you buy traffic through MicrosoftAds (bing. com) the about 15% of the traffic has google. com as the referring domain? Thanks

@luedtke42 hi, no, in a 3rd tracking tool called voluum. Its strange, so wondering how/why it occurs

Definitely strange and shouldn’t be accurate. Since bing auto tagging relies on UTMs I’m wondering that’s getting stripped or somehow mismapped. I’d hit bing ads support on this.

@luedtke42 thanks, yes it is strange. I wonder if there is some geo/circumstance where microsoft serves ads on behalf of google
