Ads will be disapproved . it's against the Google ads policy. please go and check it out reading Google ads policies related to Covid19

So mentioning within the ads is a no-go. How about linking to a news page that mentions the word Coronavirus? It's difficult to report on the news without mentioning this, so many articles contain the word.

@herdsman depends. I've linked brand traffic to clients covid 19 page with success about half the time. Best if it's not in the url structure
