“Your ads relate to a restricted product or service. In order for your ads to start running, you'll need to apply for specific approval. ” Launched a new account for a new client today. Insurance niche. The ads say approved, but upon hovering over the “eligible” I get the above message. Preview tool shows the same status code. There’s no advice that I can find on what I’m supposed to do in this situation. How I seek “specific approval”. I contracted support (so painful over live chat), who insisted this was wrong and the ads are eligible. 12 hours later, zero impressions and not showing up in searches or preview. Contacted support again. This guy had to contact a colleague. An hour later waiting he still didn’t receive a response, to which I asked for an email once he has. No response. My account rep who is actually really helpful, sadly can’t help with policy issues. Phone support being down is a real problem. It feels like Google staff are less accountable than ever. Almost Facebook territory. Anybody any advice on this one?
