[Google Shopping only triggered on brandname] Hi Guys, I've activated a new Google Shopping campaign. After running it for 3 days it only matches on brandname and not on generic search terms. I've checked the settings and I've checked the feed. There aren't any excluded search terms, there are no audiences added and the feed seems to be fine (titles are optimized with branded and generic titles, descriptions are added and the Google category is the right one. Anyone got any ideas on why this happens? Thanks!

What’s the order of your title? You probably know this but Google reads left to right so put your brand at the end of your title. Also 3 days isn’t a whole lot of time for a Shopping campaign. Give it a week and then reevaluate the feed and bids if you aren’t getting any traction. Just my 2 cents from personal experience. not an expert

Brand - Product title - Generic keyword. But that's the order we've got for other countries as well. Also campaign settings are the same as other countries.

@quit8 I would go Product Title - Generic Keyword - Brand. Unless your brand is well known

Brand bids cost alot less. Try increasing cpc, maybe you are just not bidding high enough for generic kW to get clicks.

The last few days I've indeed doubled the CPC each day. We're bidding a lot now, but might try to even further increase that bid.
