Hi everyone, its me again  Regarding script to automatically add search terms as negatives for google shopping. Im currently using a script that will exclude any search terms that does not include any words from column a + b in combination. (1 of each) ex. column a: men, mens, boy, boys etc. column b: tshirt, shirt, top etc. ex: mens blue tshirt- not excluded ex2. mens blue sweater- excluded (hope this was clearly explaind? ) Now to the question: Is there a way to set this to exclude terms that does not include either 1 word from column a + b OR 1 word from colum a + c + d? ex. If the search term does not include the words mens + tshirt or anything that i have in my colums of a + b, it will be excluded OR however, if it includes mens + white(column c) + cotton (column d) it is still relevant enough even if it doesnt include the word tshirt. Any help appreciated!

What are you trying to accomplish?

Its a script that automatically ads search terms to the negatives from the shopping campaign which doesnt include specific word combinations.

@tussle4 why are we adding them?

Why not just build the list of searches you want to target?

@eastern not sure if I understand what you mean.

@tussle4 you can just build a list of the keywords you want to target and use that. If you’re trying to be less selective and make sure certain magic words are in the query before you decide to join the auction, that can be done too. Still not sure what you’re trying to do.

No matter what anyone says, you CAN target keywords in Shopping.

@eastern how?

@tussle4 An advice: Just listen carefully what he says. You can learn a lot from his approach.

@eastern thanks a lot! So your advice is generally to target search terms rather than exclude irrelevant ones? I would say i would want to go for exclusions until i have enough data, before i even know what terms to target. Am i wrong?
