How is everyone celebrating Easter with smaller kids ages 4-9? Any ideas for other than an easter egg hunt, of course staying at home, probably indoor as it looks like it's going to rain all weekend?

We are going to do a scavenger hunt to find the baskets as well. I am very excited! I will post pics of the clue cards. I figure I will give my daughter her empty basket and at each clue I’ll leave a small treat and have her fill her own basket up, leaving the best gift for last. We also ordered catered dinner to support local businesses and I bought the reserrection eggs to tell her the story of Easter

You can still do an egg hunt indoors. We have every year that the weather hasn't cooperated.

We will do it inside. And then at the end of the egg trail, he will have to find the mystery gift from the bunny

Easter Egg Hunt around the house, Easter baskets, online church service, small version of typical meal. Our families plan to celebrate together as soon as it is safe to do so. The stay home order will not prevent us from celebrating with extended family, it will just postpone it.

We make resurrection cookies on Saturday and resurrection rolls on Sunday. You can find the recipe with bible quotes if you Google.

We are a small family of 3. We are going to color eggs today or tomorrow. We will hide the Easter basket on Sunday morning. And then we're going to do a nice homemade fondue dinner for the three of us.
