Online at this point. I've been sewing them for weeks, everywhere is sold out. Unless you can find somebody that has some to sell or give. Just make sure you're using 100% cotton and you're inside fabric is different than your outside, so wearers can know which side was facing out last time they wore it when they took it off. I now have to make them with ties.

@michaeline24 You can sew the ties on the short side. It gives a better seal.

@michaeline24 I think everyone has really personal feelings on what works best. If that’s what someone told you, I’d just go with that. The health care workers are appreciative of anything they receive!

I've seen posts showing if you cut open a bungee cord, they're full of elastic

I've bought them at Dollar Tree too, so it'd be cost effective

Scroll to about 1:20 on this video and you can learn how to easily make no-sew ties out of a tshirt with a bit of stretch. I made a bunch out of 1 tshirt that was 90% cotton 10% poly.

Scour the dollar tree for flat elastic headbands-they are perfect for masks. also ordered elastic headbands in bulk from amazon. elastic from old fitted sheets works as well-weve rummaged around the house for any elastic we could re-purpose! My mom has been making about 20+ masks a day!

I used kids thighs/pantyhose. It’s softer than elastic!

I read Bungee tie downs are full of thin elastic bands if you cut the metal hooks off the ends you can pull them out. I haven’t tried it but it’s worth a shot.
