This is going to sound funny but both My boys (13&14) liked watching Anne with an E (season 3) they enjoyed the complete opposite way of living. It was a season about standing up for what’s right, fighting inequalities, and following your dreams. Provided for interesting conversations.

Raising Deion is great and is one that will entertain someone of any age. I watched it with 18, 15, and 6 year old.

Locke and Key is REALLY good, but be warned, it DOES show a few murder scenes and has other acts of violence central to the story. You know your kid best. If they have a problem viewing trauma or if you think they will internalize those kind of scenes, then maybe it's not the best choice. In some ways, fantasy series like Grimm and Supernatural are easier to watch bc the violence is kind of hokey and they don't dwell on emotional attachment to what's going on.
