We also love a House of Emperor. BUT if you are further west/ closer to Aurora we also love Lucky Panda.

Ming Hin and East China Inn are both great (although we’re Yen Ching regulars but they’re closed right now); Joy Yee is also good. Unfortunately we’re not big House of Emperor fans.

What I think is difficult around here is that they all serve their food differently. We’ve tried: China Kitchen Lucky Wok Joy Yee House of Emperor Magic Kitchen Minghin Cuisine I love egg rolls, lo mein, and general tso’s. I judge a place on those criteria. I have NOT found a place that does ALL deliciously. Egg rolls around here tend to all be mushy inside, but except for those at Joy Yee & China Kitchen. And some have alternative noodles for their lo mein. I hope to hear what you loved.

I’ve tried many Chinese places and i have to say our favorites so far are lucky wok and magic kitchen (both in lisle). I heard great things about house of emperor but they’re general Tso chicken was too much dough (same with Chinese kitchen). I don’t think either are opened right now . Lucky wok has a separate menu for “Americanized Chinese” and “authentic Chinese” ☺️

Joy Yee on Ogden not local to Naperville but local to Chicago. It’s the best in the area for sure! Fresh and high quality ingredients and authentic. We would not go elsewhere
