Hi!  I’m pregnant and looking for the best OBGYN.Hi! I’m pregnant and looking for the best OBGYN. I’m thinking on going with Naperville Women’s Healthcare but I was told you are seeing by all the doctors there and whoever is on call will deliver. I’m not convinced by the idea of being seeing and dealing with multiple doctors. Do you recommend this clinic or which OBGYN do you recommend? Please help this new mommy!

It is my experience that most practices require you to have a visit with each doctor during your first pregnancy so you have met all as they can’t predict who will be on call when you deliver. That didn’t bother me. I have had 4 children delivered by DMG OBGYN at Edwards. They were all great but Dr Joesph Martin and Dr Weeks are two of my favorites.

@caress60 I second this! I’m 22 and had my daughter last year. Every doctor at Dupage Medical group remembered me, my mom, and my daughters father. They are a great group of doctors! They also delivered for my sister and two of our close family friends.

I love Dr Moodalagiriaiah! She is kind, patient, funny, and is a mom of two herself. She is a great listener and has a wonderful soft spoken bedside manner.

@brantley He wasn’t with the group when I delivered My Baby 2018 but he’s there now and I have fibroids huge fibroid so I’ve been seeing him for those very thorough really like him

I left Naperville Women’s Healthcare for DMG with Dr Weeks and co. Not sure why, but all my favorite doctors left NWH when I was pregnant with my 4th. Love DMG!

I felt this way with my first and opted for a solo practice. Then, surprise, my son decided to come two weeks early when my OBGYN was out of the country, and his backup, who I had never met before, ended up delivering my son. It all turned out fine, but it was the first of many lessons for me that things don’t always go according to plan with having a baby

DMG in Downers/Lombard is also fantastic! I’m sad that my primary just left, but everyone I’ve seen there has the best bedside manner! They deliver out of Good Sam, which I had great experiences for delivering my girls.

Of them being there. They have similar styles and make sure to stay on the same page. I had a difficult delivery and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the care I received before, during, and after having my baby.

I think that’s the norm? That’s how it was when I had my son and daughter. 03/06! I got lucky with both and the doctor I wanted delivered both!

I don’t know of an obgyn office that doesn’t have multiple doctors in the rotation, unless you pay a premium. It’s too hard to plan a delivery date with 1 doctor. If you are set on one doctor, Dr Kimberley Wright has a VIP program that you pay a prem

I had my first in Bloomington. Saw the same doc and nurse each visit and loved it. On delivery day though, it was a doc I had never met. Didn’t matter in the moment lol

Patten, Dunn, Carney, Gordon, Jensen out of dupage medical group. They are all wonderful.

I’d say from my own personal experience. go with the group and have it so any of those doctors in that group would deliver. my situation was I was seeing 1 doctor but ended up needingh an emergency c-section and had 2 doctors I didn’t know deliver my son. It didn’t matter when it was showtime! You just want the baby out safe n sound ♥️ Congratulations Mama!

I agree I wouldn’t go with a solo doctor you have to remember that these doctors also have other patients who also could be delivering at the same time is you I mean you never know

Realistically, 1 Doctor cannot be doing office visits every day and be on call 24 hours every day for deliveries. Usually a group in the practice.

@censorshipto be monitored weekly towards the end and every single one of them always knew exactly where I was and what baby was looking like :) I promise you're in GREAT hands and it is a blessing in disguise because you never know when you may go so you wouldn't be guaranteed your doctor no matter where you go. Feeling comfortable with all of them is a big plus! My delivery ended up being scheduled so I knew who was on call and saw her 2 days before to talk about any last minute things :) Love all of them!

I have been going to Naperville Women’s Health care for over 15 years now. Dr. Flannery or Dr. Lucaric delivered all 3 of my babies. I continue to see Dr. Flannery for my annuals. Love her!
