Is anyone else having this issue?. I filed for unemployment back in March. I got an email from IDES on 4/8 saying to go ahead and certify my benefits because they are way backed up with paperwork. I certified on 4/9. I got the paperwork in the mail yesterday (4/16). I have yet to see any money deposited in my bank account. I don't know why. It says on the website it takes 2-3 businesses days. My sister who filed just a few days before me, has gotten her money. I am not sure what to do. I am open to any thoughts.
Is anyone else having this issue?.

So there is a delay with the site. Once you have the paperwork go online to certify, set up your direct deposit and you’ll get a confirmation number. Magically the $$ shows up a few days later. It’s super stressful and confusing

@scribble4 yup did all that when I first registered. I don’t think direct deposit or the card is the issue

We are in the same boat for my husband. I was told by some coworkers to try the contact ides at the bottom of the website and fill out the contact form. Did this a few days ago so hopefully someone reaches out because I haven’t had any luck getting through in the phone

Did you get the debit card instead? I’ve heard a lot of people not know they got one and threw it out thinking it was junk. I didn’t put info for direct deposit because I didn’t know there was that option. (Till later)

@so5 yup I knew to put in the info for direct deposit. But you can also check to see on their end on the IDES website to see if they have made a deposit which they have not

When you certified how did you answer the “were you able to work and available for work each day during your normal work week”? If you said no, your claim will be denied. But you can call them and they can change that answer for you so you can get paid. It will take several attempts to get through so try at exactly 730am or after 3pm. Good luck!
