Question

Does anyone know if local farms are delivering produce boxes? We usually frequent Farmers Markets and would love to still shop local.

I'm not sure about produce boxes, but just FYI Wheaton Farmers Market is planning to continue beginning May 2. They'll have an online ordering page where you can purchase ahead then just pick up from farmers and food vendors. They're putting a ton of great practices into place to maintain social distancing and safety for everyone!

We use Barb at Mayneland Farms in Naperville for some good local stuff later into the season.

This is my absolute favorite farmer! They don’t deliver but they will be at the Naperville Farmers Market this year. But honestly the drive is worth it ❤️

Does anyone know about fruit CSAs? I missed the boat on a share from Earth First. I signed up for a share from green earth institute so I’m all set on veggies. Just looking for fruit. Maybe eggs.

Peter Rubi in Plainfield has a large amount of fresh produce and fruits available daily. I know they do curb side pick up and certain items can be ordered online.
