Question

Does anyone know where I can dispose of a microwave? I know I can’t put it out with the weekly garbage pick up right now.

Naperville has an electronic recycling site that is closed during this pandemic stuff, but when reopened the hours are M-F; 7:30am-2pm at 156 Fort Hill Dr.

If you put it out at the curb the day before your garbage pick up, the junkers might take it.

@tremann oh yes! You should be fine. They are out even more because they know people are clearing out their houses during boredom. They come late at night.

I still see them around my neighborhood in Naperville the evening before garbage day. I was wondering if the places they sell to, the metal recyclers, are considered essential and still open for them.
