We had a parade for my 6yr old last week. I made goodie bags for the kiddos that stopped by and also had cupcakes and put them in individual little goodie bags as well. As the cars slowly drove by . (we had our masks on) . either myself or my husband ran up and gave each child a goodie bag and a cupcake. We had a table set up at the end of our driveway. It turned out great! My little guy had so much fun and enjoyed every second of it, seeing his friends and family!

@merc2 You’re so welcome! I filled it up with just a few things . bubbles, a little thing of play doh, slap bracelet, individually wrapped rice krispy treat, individually wrapped fruit snack. Hope your little guy has a wonderful birthday!

I was in a birthday parade where they gave out donuts ‼️♥️

@putscher that sounds delicious how was the delivery process?
by (5.1k points)
The birthday boy opened the box and let each person take one. The box protected his face. This was early on though. Now with more precautions in place maybe the bundtlets that are prepackaged are a better way. They are more pricey but safer. Either way . hope your drive up party is great!

@merc2 Dunkin’ Donuts can package donuts individually in their paper bags. We did this for my daughters drive by party. That way no one else is touching other people’s donuts. You just have to give Dunkin a heads up because it takes a while.

Or you could do bundtlets which supports local small businesses

@putscher I love that idea. I would have to find out if the store would individually wrapped those.

@merc2 the bundtlets come in a plastic container I think they're like 5 bucks each The bundtinis come in like a cupcake tin and are 12 to a box for like 25 bucks Sometimes you can find a coupon and if you sign up for birthday club you get a BUNDLET free around your bday

These come in the VAL-PACK of coupons often.

Just be careful if you opt to do balloons- in event there is a latex allergy you are not aware of! (Coming from a mom w/latex allergy! My kiddos were fine- but if I were the one driving by for parade- they would not be able to have in the car  )
