Question

I’m a runner and I woke up with what I think is Achilles Tendinitis? The back of my ankle feels extremely bruised. Has anyone dealt with this and what did you to to heal other then test and icing it? I hate to take too much time off from running. Thanks!

Foam roll your calf a ton, and also use a tennis ball and roll the bottom of your foot. If either are tight, they are pulling on the achilles. Try that and see!

Yes. I’ve had this. Do not go barefoot anymore: shoes inside and shoes outside. Buy inside shoes if you don’t own a pair. Then, change your diet to an anti inflammatory one (google this). Then reduce sugary drinks and alcohol. Heat 20 mins 3 times a day. Drink a lot Of water with Advil daily. After 5-7 days you should see an improvement. Just walk in 20 minutes intervals until you feel you can run without pain. Elevate whenever possible.

Also I’m not sure what hours he’s working during this time but you need to go and see my acupuncturist. @thetic24 I’m not kidding this guy is brilliant and fixes everything and if he can’t fix it he knows who can. I was walking 4 miles a day 5 days a week and got horrid plantar fasciitis and I swear he cured me omg so many other ailments I’ve had. If you’re interested let me know I’ll send you his info. ❤️❤️❤️ sorry for your pain.
