Hi  I have 2 questions: 1) is there a good gardening fb page for this area? 2) How do you keep squirrels from digging up your bulbs? My friend and i each boughten 140 bulbs. Hers were dug up within 12 hours of the squirrels finding them. We have 6 squirrels and i need to get these bulbs planted! Thank you!

I have heard to put chicken wire over the bulbs. The leaves will grow through the chicken wire. I haven't done this and haven't had a problem. I have had a problem with deer and other animals eating tulip leaves. So I only have daffodils and hyacinths.

@constrain45253 Ki Yes to chicken wire! Plant your bulbs and cover with chicken wire then cover with about 2” soil.

I found bulb baskets on-line that protect them.
