Is American Airlines flight still flying out?

Yes, they’re still flying. American, United and Delta have reduced flying by 90% so there are limited flights and many are full.

They’re adding back international travel soon. Southwest is as well.

So if I buy a flight for July 14th. Chances they’ll leave the scheduled time? What percentage?

@arawakan should be okay for July 14th. Aviation employees are hoping there will be more flights by July.

@arawakan the airlines have pretty much figured out now a reduced flying schedule so there really shouldn't be anymore cancellations. As far as your question of "leaving on time" well flights can still always be delayed due to weather, maintenance, aircraft or crew swap.

Omg ladies help lol I just bought tickets to LA. If I want to switch flights to maybe like south padre island since Texas has stay home order lifted Could I I’m booked through American. Dates are July 14-22 I want to keep same dates

Just received a refund for an AA int flight to Venice on June.

Just flew on southwest for a family funeral. Midway was pretty empty & southwest flights had 22 passengers in the morning & 50 late afternoon. I’ve seen united & AA flights fill w no social distancing

@toggery I’m wanting to do mid July. Will have masks etc. just don’t want to book if it will cancel. We just want to isolate on a beach somewhere for a week kinda needed. I’m drained.

@sundae50769 depends where you're flying out to. Many States are open, or opening, therefore so are hotels.

@columbine hotels are deemed essential but since hotels are franchised, its at the owners discretion to close.

Anyone know if American will switch locations on a flight. Same days. Just different city.
