I love burkinis theyre so comfortable and so cute. I personally don't feel comfortable wearing swimsuits because they're not flattering on my body type.

Pants and a shirt with a double breasted jacket works.

Not what you asked for - but here's my opinion. don't "hide" your body! What you went through to have a child was a beautiful thing. Our mom bods come in all shapes and sizes. and they're ALL beautiful! Love the skin your in, and wear what you've got! I honestly became so much more comfortable once I decided I didn't care what others thought of my body. Until then, no swimsuit could make me comfortable

@ricardaricardama great advice! (And I also understand wanting camouflage - we are not one dimensional! )

No advice on a swimsuit, but I’m a huge believer that you can change your body after baby with a strong commitment to exercise and a healthy clean diet. I’ve had 2 kids, had severe hyperemesis with both pregnancies, was on an IV while pregnant with my second one, and lost all of the baby weight after each within 6 months. My girls are 12 and 16 now, and I’m in the best shape of my life. I don’t buy styles to hide anything, instead at 44 I buy clothes to show off my hard work. Besides looking great, you’ll feel great. Good luck and congratulations on your baby! ❤️

@cavetto that’s awesome that you were able to do that. But not everyone is in the shape they would like to be, so it’s perfectly fine to ask for recommendations without being taught a lesson.

@comorin sorry that you feel defensive for your own personal reasons. Clearly that’s on you and not me. My comment is a positive, and encouraging statement. Unfortunate that you need to make it anything other than that. ‍♀️ Bless your heart

@comorin You must be new here. @cavetto is known for these kinds of comments.

@cavetto awwwww sweetie! You really are projecting your big ego on others. It’s OK, though. I totally understand your type. God Bless You!

I really like Torrid's one piece suits. I know they're pkus size and it may not apply to you, but they are comfortable and feel flattering as well.

A lot of women struggle with diastasis recti (abdominal separation) after pregnancy and every body is different. Don’t let anyone in this thread make you feel badly about yourself. Right after I had #3 I found the cutest one-piece at Target that had a plunging neckline to show off the milky goods but a Spanx lining to help smooth everything in the midsection. It was the perfect suit. Good luck in your search and congrats on your baby. I literally squealed over your profile pic. He is ADORABLE!

I love Hapari suits!

@raseta sorry but I totally disagree- these tops do not make you look slimmer if you have a pouch (tried it and felt like I looked bigger). I loved tiered tankinis and wear them on top of a (high rise) bottom. Now is not the time but I would order a few different styles and then return the ones I didn’t like. Check return policies and get a few varieties until you find what works for your body. Good luck!

@expressly I have this suit and it works great on me! To each their own.
by (380 points)
@raseta I am sure it does. And I meant no offense, really. I wish I could make a suit like the work for me.
by (1.3k points)
@expressly no offense taken. Every body and person is different. I have a heck of a time finding suits for my body type

I'm feeling in the same camp as @ricardaricardama  After baby #2 I've never not looked pregnant again (he's 5 now) and I've decided I DON'T CARE and wear a two piece because it's easier to get off when my suit is wet and I need to pee LOL Anybody want to judge my belly, they can have fun. I'm glad I can make them feel better about themselves
by (2.3k points)
@amative I second a 2 piece for the same reason. I usually get the tankini to feel more comfortable chasing my 1 and 3 year olds. I’ve had lands end with great luck. I’m looking for something new this year just to try a new style but my boobs have grown and drooped so much that I need support in the top and it’s harder to find.

Same here! Boob and gravity do not mix well

Doesn’t look like public pools are opening anytime soon. No one will see you in your backyard. Be happy with yourself and don’t worry about your stomach this summer.

@washer we are going to visit in the in laws in lake of the ozarks and they have a boat

@machinery in this case you can check Macy’s website. They have a large selection of tummy control swimsuits. I hope you have a great vacation!

I bought a high waisted, rouched bikini similar to this off amazon and am in love with it! Hides and tucks in all the right places and is also flattering.
by (770 points)
@fernandafernande7 have you gotten it wet? Wondering what it looks like when the top sticks to you, it’s so cute!
by (2k points)
@machinery yes I have. I dont have a top like that just bottoms. My friend has a top like that and it's still looks nice after wet. The bottoms though are magical. I've had 2 c-sections and have a digestive disease so my weight can fluctuate by 10 lbs making me look pregnant and the bottoms still hide it all
by (2k points)
This is my top. The bottoms are high enough that it only shows a few inches between them and the top
by (770 points)
@fernandafernande7 cute! do you have the link by chance?
by (2k points)
This was the first bikini I wore after having kids and my husband and I were both happy with the outcome. He could care less what I wear as long as I'm happy.
by (14.5k points)
@fernandafernande7 I honestly think the high waisted bikinis are extremely flattering on girls with tummies! I think they're much more flattering than a 1-piece!
