Ladies, What is a good plant for the front porch (that doesn’t need a lot of sunlight)? I’m trying to make our front porch more inviting, but our porch is a little hidden alcove. Thank you!

A lot of the costco pots are minimal sunlight.

@rousing320 for shame! We don’t have a membership!

@pronator bummer, ferns are great for low sunlight. Plus you can decorate them. Soaking then in some Epsom salt water helps keep them super green.

I finally gave up this year and just got a preplanted pot made especially for shade. It looks nice on my stoop. Of course it has been moved into and out of the garage a few times this week

@twocycle0 where did you get your plant?
by (1.6k points)
@pronator it was from a plant sale that my friend did to help her friend. But, I know lots of places do mixed pots and planters. Did you check The Growing Place?

Potato vine, pansies, and impatiens? All I could grow was geraniums-those can be very beautiful too.

@surveying I think geraniums may be my fav bc they flower literally till December! But I thought they love sun?! They did well for you in full shade?

Geraniums was all I could grow-I think mine had mix of shade/full sun. Love them, cuz they’ve loved me back lol!
