We booked an air bnb for the family with pool down by starved Rock. Hopefully we'll be able to do some walking etc

@leukorrhea we’ve never been. How far is it, and can we get good hiking in, or is it just a hangout place? Thanks

@cavetto starved Rock is great for hiking plus waterfalls etc about 1. 5 hrs South West

@liborio33 we are still going to Myrtle Beach in July!

@shive I've never been, lol but I got suckered in this morning for an IHG/Holiday Inn Resorts timeshare deal. Myrtle Beach was on the list. Is it more cheesy and touristy or more quaint and laid back?

Definitely touristy unless you go to north myrtle.

@totter we’ve stayed in north Myrtle a few times which is very quiet & nice but we decided to stay last summer at the very very end of south Myrtle on the beach and it was just as quiet as north! Plus it’s by the fairly new outdoor upscale mall with the nice restaurants which is such a nice area! I would just avoid the center of downtown Myrtle . that is where the main chaos is. We have a 9 year old and 6 year old and they request to go back every year they just love it as do we!

We went to Lake Geneva today, it was beautiful! Outdoor seating is open at most of the restaurants, it was great!
