I did! They were nice enough to hold it up front for me. It really depends on how many other brides on your flight!

Yes. - married in Maui and I carried on my dress. They took it from me and hung it up by first class.

It also depends on the size on the aircraft. Say of you're traveling on a small Reginal aircraft their may not even be a closet to store it or a closet big enough for it. Also closests are typically reserved for First Class only so it really depends on how full the closet already is and how friendly and accommodating your flight attendants are

Did you keep it in the dress bag or get a travel garment bag for it?

I flew United last week to a company meeting. They were extremely kind to a bride. Her dress was put into the closet. I think that you will be ok

Depends on the size, mine was size of the light coat and the flight attendant was nice to hang in their area on transatlantic flight, call the airlines ahead, not United, l think it was Lufthansa
