We had a baby sprinkle! Small group of 10-12 women in the kitchen prepping and putting together freezer meals for the momma to-be. They ALL ended up wanting the recipes (because they were all yummy fast meals) and they were all pregnant as well and said they wanted to have their own same type of Baby Sprinkle.

Whatever you do, don’t do the “how big is moms belly” game. It’s awful and humiliating.

I literally had to excuse myself to go cry a little after. Wanted to slap my mother in law.

@gond laughing because I literally just put that down lol! I don’t mind it, but I can see how some moms wouldn’t like it

Depends on the mom-to-be  Some arent a fan of games. My baby shower is beginning of March and we’re playing 4 games and 1 activity  - Bottle Chug - Baby Food tasting (not the typical way) - Clothes pins (crossing legs) - Measuring Belly Activity is Baby Block making station

A fun one I had was they put a diaper at every persons seat and markers at the table. Everyone left me either a cute note or funny joke, or funny pic. Simple, everyone can do it while still chatting at their seats.

My sister threw a sprinkle for me and did the cutest game. She gave everyone play-doh and told them to make a baby. She used cupcake liners as the “cradle” for the play doh babies. Then she had me judge the babies for cutest, ugliest, most creative. It was fun and funny!

We made fleece blankets for babies in the NICU at Edward Hospital in lieu of games. It was nice to catch up with friends before the baby arrived while working on an activity for a good cause.

@interlingua best idea ever!

@interlingua it was an awesome idea! It was an easy laid back activity where we could chat at the same time. I imagine this is why old ladies knit with each other.

We did games. Minute to win it games, the storybook game (alternate titles). I also threw one where each person made a month themed page for a baby album
