Anybody knows where I can buy thermometer? Seems like most of the stores are out.

I tried to find one a while back and no luck. You may have to order.

We had two electronic thermometers that had stopped working. Upon close exam, we found their batteries could be replaced (needed to go to a Battery Plus store). But we gave them away to relatives at risk. Worst case, I suppose one could carefully break off the wall-mounting of a mercury thermometer & use that, using alcohol to sanitize.

One of their battery compartments was so hard to find, I set it aside for electronics recycling. But my husband noticed a TINY screw at its end & was able to change the battery.
