Anyone seen hand sanitizer gel and wipes?

If you have paper towels or handiwipes( can be washed) and rubbing alcohol, you can make your own. I used a large carry out plastic container with a fitted top. Cut paper towels/wipes in half, put in container, pour in quarter cup of alcohol ( can use vodka) and cover - shake to wet all wipes. Will last forever. Can add more wipes. Don't forget to use your dishwasher and microwave to sanitize your wipes and sponges.

You really have to check the routine places constantly and jump on it when it's available. Someone telling you they saw it at Walgreens on 87th this morning? Drive there asap cause it'll likely be gone by afternooon. Same thing everywhere. I ordered some from Amazon that said it'd ship by mid-April but it still came within like 5 days, so try that too.

Use soap and water if you can’t find any. Carry a zip top bag with paper towels sprayed with 409, Fantastic or similar that disinfect. Or with rubbing alcohol. Cheaper too.

Thank you. I will have to try that. I'm thinking though that by this time, a big retailer like Walmart will be doing the same thing that Amazon, OfficeMax, Staples, etc are doing - sending them to the government or medical facilities.

@daylong6 Did not mean it as criticism. Appreciate the info. I am not familiar with Hartland. On the other hand, Oswald's has been around town for more than 100 years and the family still lives just a few blocks from where their original store was located on Jefferson Street.

Bleach water with a rag in it by my kitchen sink. Use it to wipe thins off and put the rag in a zip lock bag to take with me when I leave the house.

Boy I hate using bleach. I usually only use it once a month or so to keep my front-loading washing machine clean.

Nancy, since you have a restaurant, I assume you know this. But for disinfecting, Clorox says make dilute solution up every day. I worked in the chemical industry in water treatment where bleach was used to control microbio activity, we tested chlorine levels every day and made fresh solutions.
