Every so often helicopters are used by Com Ed to check the power lines to see if repairs are needed.

When you start seeing Blackhawks; A dignitary is coming in., or it’s in preparation for the President. If you see the larger (green/white) Huey’s it’s the President. All green Huey is the press core. The sky is quite busy around here.

The past few days were news copters for the accident at the police station and traffic coverage. We hear them a lot in early am covering traffic on the expressways.

We've been hearing it for a few months now. same time every morning. We think someone is commuting to work. Can't wait for the morning light to get a little brighter, then maybe we can identify it.

It’s news helicopters going or to Chicago executive airport in wheeling.

I hear it in Des Plaines every morning and wonder the same thing. People say it's normal just news traffic helicopters but I dont think they are that loud or circle housing developments like that. And not that low!
