Are the scrappers still driving around before trash day? Cleaning out the garage and have some metal to get rid of.

Yes they’ve been out and picked up a dryer from my neighbor’s curb Friday morning. Lately they come around early evening the night before pickup. I think they avoid going around too late due to complaints about the noise they make sometimes.

I put some metal out last night and it is still there. I suspect they'll be by at some point.

There’s a church in Des Plaines that also takes metal donations. First Congregational Church. There’s a huge container in back in parking lot that is well-marked.
