Does anyone know if this is the only resident in Niles that came forward with these complaints/accusations? I'm just curious as to how widespread this was and how we can find out how widespread this was

I also find it disturbing that according to the article, only 1 person applied to be Inspector General, so they got appointed. The Village really needs to increase its community communications for open positions. We have a lot of great talent throughout our village and competition increases the chances that the most qualified person serves.

@underlying Even if you do apply for a position, nepotism is quite apparent here unfortunately ‍♀️

@underlying Thats not how politics work unfortunately

@mere Unfortunately, I know that all too well! :( Been working in politics/policy for over 15 years and too often, a lot of "business as usual" keeps being usual unless there is a real grassroots movement for change, even at the local level. Here's hoping one gets started in our village!

I'm actually interested in the number of people pertaining to the story of the resident in the article and how many residents this happened to leading to all of this. How many residents did this happen to which is what brought this all on apparently?

No one has been able to answer the question if this is the only resident. Were there 5 10, 25 100 or just one? That's what I would like to know

Does the reporter who did this article know? Or have the original news story on this incident? Tom Robb?

I have personally known Mayor Przybylo for as long as I can remember -almost 55 years. The Mayor always acted above board in his personal business (White Eagle) and in his public role as Mayor. After my father’s retirement as village manager, my father , Abe Selman and I would attend Board Meetings, remember my dad always praising The Mayor.

@aroma hi @aroma. I'm still wondering how many residents have the same complained as this resident. I remember your father well, a good man
