Question

Does anyone have a rheumatologist in the area they would recommend? Someone who actually listens to their patients and helps? I’ve seen 4 doctors over the years with no results. Just looking for some relief.

My husband sees Dr. Jacobsen and really likes him.

If I were you I would get one through a bigger teaching hospital like UIC or Northwestern if you haven't already.

Not in the area but have seen/followed the same rheumatologist for 15 years because he does listen and believe me, Dr. Ben Frank with Mercy in Barrington. I gladly make the drive from Oswego. Can not recommend enough.

I’ve worked with rheumatology clinics at northwestern and Dreyer both places have amazing doctors with good reputation but I will say Dr Jacobson knows ALOT and his patients love him!

Dr. Frances Lichon Edwards rheumatology

I’ve seen Dr Lichon. He called me personally to go over test results, on a Saturday morning no less. He was very caring and the office staff was very friendly!
