Did orchard cafe close down ?

I wonder what happened they were always busy. It was our to go place when going out to breakfast. I hope another breakfast place moves in because we have nothing on that side of town for breakfast

I haven't tried it yet for breakfast, but Steve Buresh's cheese cake place does breakfast. Everything else is great so I would think breakfast would be as well. @fluter

That's what this says, must of been sometime recently cuz their parking lot was packed last week on Sunday.

Yes! There’s a sign on the door, something about their lease.

I drove by and sadly there is a sign on their door that says they closed Feb 16

Yes! My husband went there the last day and they basically got kicked out. Apparently the owner of the building wants to put in some sort of slots place .

I’m sad it’s closing; but Riverview Diner is a good option as well.

What?! Terrible! We used to frequent orchard cafe and came to know the owner and her family. This is heartbreaking.

We were just there on the 15th! It’s so good and my kids love it there! So sad to hear this! It was packed that day. Hoping they open up a new spot!

I heard from an insider that the building owner exercising clause in the lease or wouldn’t renew the lease and is looking to open a different business in that location. liquor store or slots place or something along those lines. my thought is they have someone willing to pay more for the space. It definitely stinks. we enjoyed Orchard Cafe

Yeah it was a good non fast food option. One of the very few on this side of Oswego. It’s sad and they seemed like really good people. That sucks. I wish we had more restaurants like that.
