I noticed a 5G small cell in Oswego for the first time today. Anyone else notice? My heart sunk knowing how dangerous these are.

I’m curious too! What is a 5G cell? What is it used for?

I apologize for the late response. It is located at the intersection of 34 and Pearces Ford Road in front of IHOP. I hope I'm wrong. Here is a picture and a video that shows the radiation that is being emitted from it.

I think it is unfounded to call it dangerous. There is no need to create hysteria. If anything, more research is needed, but this is meeting current safety regulations.

Actually, there are lots of unbiased resources. I would encourage looking into these resources.

I thought it was obvious, but I was being completely sarcastic. Those are clearly not unbiased resources. Those are borderline conspiracy theorists. And I should know better than to argue with tinfoil hats. ✌️ out

if you don’t care about it and don’t believe, why be so hateful? Rude. Take a step back, it’s completely unnecessary to talk to anyone in a demeaning tone. Post the research if you’re truly trying to sway someone or inform anybody and not just trying to be rude.

is being pretty kind in this thread, actually. And here you are asking her to prove a negative with research. What is happening in our schools that is producing this kind of thinking?

5G wireless technology is a form of non-ionizing radiation. And for that matter, so is the current 4G wireless technology and every other generation prior to that.

I mean—we all carry around the same radiation in our pockets. So. we literally demand this “dangerous” technology in the sky too.

I agree with @

and Meredith. To avoid these things, better go off the grid completely.

@
daff12-
I have to ask- did you take the video using your 4g or 5g phone? And post on Facebook from your phone? I don’t know much about this but isn’t it all related? (Not starting a fight- truly just asking)
