Ok moms, question, this is my second baby and I have been having Braxton Hicks like crazy the past week or two! I’m 33 weeks and praying my little one stays in for a few more weeks: Did any of you have the same issue and how early were you?

Hi! I have 3 kiddos, my last one is 2 months old. I started having really frequent Braxton Hicks around 20 weeks and it lasted until I delivered her at 36 weeks after going into labor at home. The last month was rough when I was moving around too much or even walking around they would occur and I swore she was going to fall out lol! Good luck mama

Yup, don't worry they are earlier and often more intense earlier with every subsequent pregnancy :)

Yep all the time. Make sure you drink lots of water that always seemed to help a bit.

I just had a baby four months ago and I have Braxton Hicks from about 28 weeks on I think. Don’t worry, they’re just your body preparing but shouldn’t mean anything is happening sooner than it should.

Starting at 20ish weeks (WAY earlier than with my first) and all the way until the end (induced at 39 weeks). Just had to slow down a bit when they’d get bad. They’re super annoying though! Hang in there mama!

I had terrible Braxton Hicks with my son that was just born. They starte d around the same time and it was because he was transverse and not head down. The more the baby pushes against your uterus, the most your uterus contracts back. Once he flipped head down at like 35 or 36 weeks they went away. Had him at 39 weeks and 5 days

33 weeks too and tons of Braxton hicks. But i experienced the same with previous pregnancies and always went to term. So totally not a sign that you will go early. Its just something that happens more and more with subsequent pregnancies.

yes, baby boy came home with me. My water broke, was in labor for 19 hours he was born at 6lbs and healthy, thank God! He had a little bit of a body temp issue, but was able to regulate after being under the light a few times and we were all good. So glad I had him early, I was ready lol!

I am 33 weeks too! This is baby #3 for me and my Braxton hicks started around 14 weeks. Doc says as long as you aren't having more than 4 in one hour then it's fine - just drink more water.

With my last baby (she's 5 now ) they started at 13 weeks. First pregnancy they started at about 32 weeks and he was born at 35 weeks. Second pregnancy at 24 weeks and had premature labor stopped at 32. 5 weeks then delivered at 38 weeks 5 days. Third pregnancy was the one mentioned above and she was born at 36 weeks 1 day.

Water was key for me. With my third, the Braxton Hicks were nasty starting just after 25 wks. Try to drink a ridiculous amount. Good luck, mama!

I had a crazy number of Braxton Hicks with my second baby. They were so intense sometimes that I would have to stop whatever I was doing and just breathe through them. But my little guy still stayed in until after my due date.

Same with my second so I worked from home for the last 8 weeks because walking to/from the train and my office downtown would trigger them. Baby came a week early.

I also had Braxton Hicks at 33-34 weeks. I did not feel them, I didn’t feel movement (like I was used to) so I was told to go to the hospital. That is when they told me I was having Braxton Hicks. They monitored me for a few hours and I was not dilated. I ended up only delivering 3 days early. Praying your bambino/a stays in the oven
