Signed my son up for t-ball through the park district, scheduled to begin June 1st. Does anyone think this will happen? We've been looking forward to this since last year. Such a bummer that these extra curricular activities, sports, etc will, most likely, not occur.

T ball is our fave. I will miss it if it’s not a go. I didn’t sign up yet.

I’d say it’s unlikely. Both of my boys are signed up for swimming (have been for months) and I’m assuming it won’t happen.

We love baseball/t-ball and look forward to it every summer! We haven’t signed up yet. but I am hoping it works out. Not sure though.  It may be a quiet summer.

I’m not counting on any June activities to take place  my daughter has been looking forward to the sports camp thing since last summer when it ended! She’s asked about it a bunch over the last couple months. I thought maybe end of summer things might happen? But not even getting my hopes up. The fest in Oswego is June. bummer! Maybe montgomarys will happen in August. Governor has mentioned cancelling all big events during summer. Things can change quickly though so just taking it day by day.

I figured as much, but, asking doesn't hurt. We signed up months ago, before any of this became a "thing". Guess we'll stick to back yard batting.

I'm not big on "going out" but not being able to do things like wine on the fox, the fest, picnics, sports, state parks. that's what makes it difficult and sad. You know, aside from the havoc this virus has wreaked on so many different levels

I know my friend that lives in Will County said her daughter's softball is cancelled for the season

I sure hope not - no MLB should mean no little league either. It would be a gathering over 10 too.
