Question

What is a good detangler for kids? My daughter's hair is very fine and gets SO knotted (mostly from sleeping) and then it's impossible to brush, so then she won't let me brush through it bc it hurts. her hair is not curly so I don't need anything for curls.

My girls hair is the same! And seriously this stuff is the BEST! I also bring it to the pool and put it in after pool days! =]

Try putting your daughters hair in a simple braid at bed time. That worked for my daughters.

We use this detangler. Then also either a Wet Brush or a Knot Genie.

You can also try a satin/silk pillowcase. I bought one online at Target.

We have the same problem and I have found that having her sleep in pigtail braids helps a lot. I use Suave's detangler when needed.

@allamerican424 yes! My daughter too! I started making her sleep in a braid too. It doesn’t stay in but at least doesn’t get matted like a rats nest. And a wet brush doesn’t nothing for the matted

@kisor it's super fine and straight so those tangles are a nightmare. The pigtail braids stay in better for us then one down the back.

I use this on my daughter after a bath. She’s also got fine, blonde hair and about a dime size of this stuff through the hair not only detangles but it also keeps the hair less tangly until next bath.

We use the tangle teezer in the shower with a little bit of conditioner in our hair. Works great on my daughter.

We use Monet kids detangler! My daughter has fine hair, too. She knots it on purpose and she twists it in order to fall asleep. It’s the only thing that has worked for us. I also do a deep conditioning treatment once a week.

We use conditioner in her hair during bath time. not all in one kind for kids. We have been using Fructis. We also use a wet brush. And for a spray detangler we just use the suave kids one.

We use the aussi brand i think it’s called hair assurance or something dumb like that. my kids are required to have hair brushed and braided before bed which helps. If it’s too short to braid just brushing before bed really helps with morning knots
