Anyone have kids that attend Parkview Christian School? Opinions? Experiences? Possibly considering for my currently homeschooled teen son.

‍♀️ my son is finishing up his 8th school year. There are many long standing families at Parkview because our kids have thrived in such a loving, Christian environment. The teachers have been nothing short of amazing and my son continues to receive a well-rounded education. Support staff is phenomenal, as well. Haven’t met a soul who hasn’t loved my child like their own.

@acree68 this is great to hear! Has your son been there for awhile? I’m worried about my son coming into already established groups of friends, if that makes sense.

@maricamarice makes total sense. He’s been there since preschool and will start 6th grade in the fall. He has a mix of friends from both preschool and those that have entered at various grades since. It’s been my experience that his class has been very accepting of new kids joining.

@acree68 we are sending my son Blake to Parkview in the Fall. He will be in 6th grade. I’ve met Sarah Smith Malkowski, but I’d love to have some other moms as “friends” as we enter into this new chapter. Can we be friends?!

Yes! We love it. My son has done kindergarten and first grade there so far. He loves school and is missing it so much right now. The teachers and staff are beyond wonderful. I’ve heard only good things about the upper campus too. Some friends were just telling us recently that their son went there for only high school. He was struggling at first because it’s tougher but ended up thriving. They felt it really prepared him for his life after high school.

I have two that graduated from Parkview and one that’s a senior now. They all went through the high school but the two older ones started in 9th grade. They fit right in and had a great experience. They were well loved by teachers and made great friends.

My kids attended there. they are no longer there. The teachers my kids had were hands down amazing and that's about all they had good going for them.

I homeschooled all 4 of my kids and then put them in Parkview last year. It’s been an incredible experience. I have one in high school, one in middle school, and 2 in elementary.

@elledge9528 this is encouraging! I also have a son going into 7th grade, but if I'm honest, I'm just not sure we can afford 2 kids there, so the high-schooler gets priority at this point! ;)

Yorkville Christian High School is another great option. It's only high school though.

My oldest had attended since 9th grade. She will be a junior in the fall. My youngest will attend 8th grade in the fall. My oldest loves it! Teachers are amazing and they have a solid Christian foundation. Challenging curriculum as well. We've been very pleased with our experience!

My son completed 10th- 12th grade at Parkview and is now a sophomore (finishing up) in college. He LOVED Parkview and still continues his relationships with friends and even teachers that poured into him. My daughter is completing her freshman year at Parkview now. and she won’t let us move so she can stay there. We have had nothing but a phenomenal experience.

We LOVE Parkview! We have one in High School, one in Junior High and a kindergartner. We will have one Preschooler starting next year. We’ve been there since my oldest started Kindergarten and can’t say enough great things about our school. The teachers are so amazing and our kids have made great friends too!
