Avoid soda generally except holidays and special occasions. Get and keep my A1C to 5. 1 and my Triglycerides down to 150. Increase servings of veggies from 1 per day to 5 if I can afford it. Message my daughter daily to encourage her to adult better and support her through her multiple chronic illnesses. Call her weekly. Continue and increase mass food prep to save money for myself and my adult kids. Pay down at least 3k in debt (this will be tough! Med bills and the sheer amount of debt are undermining this effort but I have 0 percent on a lot of it). Make time time to work on side gigs to help with paying down debt. Take full advantage of the Diabetes Management Program with my insurance company where I can get up to $90 in gift card credit for walking goals. and make use of their glucose monitoring to establish habits to maintain my A1C goal. Avoid social media during work hours.

Long enough means I'll likely accomplish some and make progress on others. I also try to make them connected so doing one might help with another.

I do have a plan. If I hold my breath and don't eat too much etc. Barring too many emergencies I think I can manage.

I have already hit my first goal for the year. It was to sit down and look at my finances. I have done this and totaled my debt. Now I’m taking a break and watching videos about M1 Finance on YouTube. Next I’m going to sit down and work on my budget. I’m determined to pay off a large chunk of my debt this year and start a SEP.

That can be tough if you haven't in a while. I've tried to make it a habit to check it quarterly and keep it on a spreadsheet to see changes and monthly if unexpected bills (medical auto) are undermining my efforts.

I do this at the beginning of every month but this year I actually sat down and figured out what I want to achieve with money this year.
