If you believe you have emotional issues around money, this book will help reframe your beliefs. I grew up in a family where money is a taboo subject. Money was a “secret” and there was always stress around money and the perception of lack there of.

"Total Money Makeover" for us. It reinforced what we were already doing to pay down debt, but also gave us a little more insight into financial risk. The one I just read was called "How to Manage Your Money When You Don't Have Any". Could have used that one about 22 years ago!

Lord of the Flies. You may think I'm joking, but it shaped my view of the human psyche at a young age, and investing is all about understanding individual logic versus heard mentality.
