How many local Catholic Churches have religious education (Formerly known as CCD) every week vs bi weekly? Also wondering if some will be elearning in the fall

Holy family had weekly classes. I don’t think they have determined fall plans yet.

@ambsace they have redone the weekly schedule so grades K-6 are Sun/M/W and 7-8 is Sun/Thurs. And yes - they haven’t gone as far to say if elearning will happen in the fall yet.

Just getting a feel for what else is out there - I’ve had a few moms ask that are running into a problem with it (multiple kids in upper and lower grades makes the new schedule difficult for them) so I thought I’d ask

St. Mary’s is usually weekly.

We do RE at St. Mary’s in minooka pending which part of Plainfield u live in. Every week. Not sure about elearning in the fall.

We are in the program at St. Francis Xavier. As a family, you attend one session a month. There are assignments to be completed at home and turned in monthly. It is a great program. The class is on Sundays after the 10 am mass.

@rhizocarpous Not weekly, just once a month. They offer two a month and you just go to which ever one works out best. After mass we all meet in the church for about ten minutes and then they separate the kids by grade levels and they go downstairs. The adults stay upstairs and we usually watch a video followed by small group discussions.
