I have been wondering what the gimmick is. Someone told me that you do sign a crazy contract and the panels MUST stay with the house so if it is sold, the new buyers have to stick with it.

We decided against it because they wanted us to sign a 25 year contract. In the long run the savings were mere dollars a month.
