I’ve suffered from acne my whole life- I’ve been taking apple cider vinegar (pill form) for the past two months (just for overall health benefits) and to my surprise this has helped SO much. It was totally unintentional.

You could be breaking out because of your conditioner. I forget which one i was using at the time but one made me break out and i had to wash my hair upside down. It helped. Antibacterial body washes help too.

I used to struggle with this and I started taking my used coffee grounds and washing with it. It sounds weird but is has improved my skin incredibly! I hardly ever get a blemish anymore.

I struggled for years, only thing that has helped me! I know it’s expensive, but it lasts a while. Cleaning up my diet and taking a good multi vitamin I think also played into getting mine cleared up.

No it’s a high end product. Only way I know about it is from being an esthetician. Some salons may have it near by though. I think you can search on the website.

@thorathoracic  There are quite a few salons who carry glo nearby. Check them out and give them a call to see if they have it in stock if you are interested.

I know this will sound a little crazy at first, but it's worth a try! I had terrible cystic acne on my face and back and after years of trying everything I could think of, I read that nightshades (a class of plant that includes white potatoes, tomatoes, ALL peppers, eggplant, tobacco and a few others. ) can cause this issue so I quit eating them entirely for 2 weeks - TOTALLY cleared up! I had wished someone had told me long before that. So if it helps you, I've paid it forward!

@intellectualize306 it's the simple sh*t sometimes ! <3

@ventriloquism isn't that true?! I found out nightshades have small amounts of poison in them that most bodies can handle. I have an auto-immune disease, which makes it even more of a challenge, and my body just can not handle white potatoes (devastating for this Irish/Scottish lassie! ). I'll still eat pizza (tomato sauce) and some salsas sometimes but just learned to give my body a real break. It's helped entirely!

@intellectualize306 food really is the key to everything. I know when I start slacking and my back aches or you start to get bloated or breaking out (besides lovely aunt flo) Just wondering, can you eat purple and red potatoes? I haven't done research but I dont eat a ton of root veggies anymore.
by (230 points)
@ventriloquism I can not, but I can eat alllll the sweet potatoes my heart desires!
by (12.1k points)
@intellectualize306 oh yes, almost forgot that one. I love that with butter lol

@ventriloquism ooh me too! Also, so delicious baked and with avocado slices on top!

Stay away from body washes with oil in them. Dermatologist had my daughter using Panoxyl wash for her back and shoulders. Sold at Walgreens. Use a different loofah than you would use for the rest of your body. And wash your back after you are done with your hair.
