Moms who pay their water bill through Joliet. does anyone else have issues with automatic payments on their water bill? We are signed up for automatic payments and every few months the payment isn't processed and we get charged a late fee and a double water bill. This has happened on three separate occasions  Just wondering if this is an issue for anyone else?

Happened to me twice but if you call they correct it on their end

@slosh yes, they have corrected it each time, thankfully! I’m just wondering why it keeps on happening and why they don’t change the payment system if there are so many people having issues with it

Yes and also happens when I have my bank pay them. How all other bills arrive on time except Joliet water is a mystery. ;) I now just mail a paper check.

Yes. It happened this month and last. I didn’t realize it cuz I just assumed it went processed. Now we have a double bill ‍♀️

I don’t have auto pay but I’ve had a few months where my statement isn’t emailed to me and if it wasn’t on my budget I would have forgot to login and see what I actually owe. Happy to know it’s not just me having issues!

Yup! It was super annoying. Only was fixed after I ripped into them bc of it. They then said oh well looks like we changed your date of billing cycle so your card wasn’t getting charged till after so that why you got late charges.

Wow! We just moved to the area in October and so far I have been late on every bill because they mailed it out too late or the email never came through. guess I'm gonna have to stay on top of it!

YESSSSS. I was fine for like 3 years. Then, in November. I get something saying we are gonna get our water turned off if I don't pay. I'm so confused. I go online and YES, I'm still enrolled in autopay. But, I re-enroll again. Last month, it happened again. Didn't pay 2 months in a row. I do auto pay so I don't have to remember to pay it and for some reason, all of a sudden, it is glitchy.

Nope, I've had it automatically come out for the past 6. 5 years out of the same account and never had a problem ‍♀️

I set it up through online bill pay through my bank and I have no issues ever.
