Hi moms!  I have a question related to job search.Hi moms! I have a question related to job search. My boyfriend has been looking for a full-time position in an office setting for months, and has completed countless applications. He's had a few interviews at different places, but never gets past that. He has experience with customer service and social media marketing, but even when he applies for those positions it ends up being a dead end. Are there any services that can help him revise his resume, or any leads on jobs? I know he's starting to get frustrated, and I'm not sure how else to help him. Thanks in advance for any advice! ❤

Try a temp agency. I passed their excel and word requirements and was placed with a company. Ended up being hired after a year and worked there for 5 more before becoming a stay at home mom.

@contumacy if it wasnt for First Choice I wouldn't have the job I deserved. I had all these talents and skills but people wanted to keep undercutting the pay. So I reached out to them. They were truly a blessing when I was most down.

We are usually looking for customer service, it’s up in westchester though. I work for Ingredion Inc. it is a good paying CS job.

How many years in social media does he have? I know a few clients who often have openings, freelance, etc

@thermel he has 6 months worth of social media experience that he did at an internship. He has his degree in communications

Look into a car dealership, if they address hiring. They have marketing departments now for social digital media.

I feel that his resume might not actually be the problem if he is making it to the interview stage. Maybe he should practice face to face interview questions
