Anyone ever sell to Half Price Books? Is it worth it?

I have made a good amount of money selling to them, but I have a theory that the first time you sell to them they give you a higher price than any subsequent times. So my daughter went and sold with her college address too. I'd rather get something for them, even if not a lot.

If they sell it at half price the buy it at like a quarter price

I brought like 20 books and got $2

It depends on how many copies they already have of that book and how popular it is.

Took in about 10 big boxes got about $30

75 books some were huge art books. $30. I own the music studio next door so we see at least 25 people a day going in to sell. I would rather give them away!

They don't pay a lot but it is better than nothing

Hmm. I have been selling tons of my books lately and way below their prices. yet curious what they will give for my books that sell asap. the popular ones. will have to go ask myself as now I am curious

My husband has been bringing boxes of books to the book market in Joliet on 30. They don't give cash. Only credit. But we have like $250 on credit so far from about 100 books.
